Obituary of Manuela Groth

Hilton - Manuela Groth passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the age of 41. She is survived by her husband, Jared Groth; her children, Alexander and Annika Groth; her parents, Peter and Gaby Berns; her sister, Katrin (Jens) Wunderlich; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dave and Polly Groth; her brother-in-law, Selden Groth; her nephew, Karl Wunderlich; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.

Manuela was born in Germany, where her family resides. She was very dedicated to helping others. She was a Self Direction Coordinator with EPI. She also volunteered for worthy causes; founding the Summer Cadet Cupboard Extension Ministry, a food pantry for Hilton students during the summer. Through all seasons, Hamlin Beach was her "happy place", and she adored her children. In her leisure, she enjoyed crocheting as well as other arts and crafts. She will be so missed by all.

Friends and family are invited to Manuela's Memorial Service on Saturday, October 16th at 2 PM at the Hilton United Methodist Church. One of Manuela's beautiful requests was for people to come to the service to celebrate her life wearing colorful attire.
