Obituary of John M. Lankowsky

John "Speedy" Lankowsky (12/4/1956 - 2/6/2021), age 64, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2021 at Unity Hospital after a long courageous battle with COVID. He was predeceased by his father, Anton Lankowsky. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pam [Adams] Lankowsky; his daughter, Jennifer Lankowsky; his mother, Barbara Lankowsky; his siblings, Zenon (Carol) Lankowsky, Paul "Chip" (Michelle) Lankowsky, Judy [Lankowsky] (Walt) Steele; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Madeline Adams; his brother-in-law, George Zielinski; his sister-in-law, Debbie Zielinski; his many nieces and nephews; his wonderful BFF, Danny Philmon; and his dear friends from Flower City Tissue Mills.

Friends are invited to call, following CDC guidelines, on Thursday, February11th from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Ave. in Hilton. John's Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 12th at St. Leo the Great Church, 110 Old Hojack Lane in Hilton. Interment will follow in White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd. in Pittsford.
