So sorry for your loss. I only knew Tom as Mr. Connor and Terese's Dad but always admired his quick wit as relayed to me by Terese. I also remember the oil embargo of the late 1970s and Mr. Connor keeping the house at a cool 55 degrees to save on fuel and help the nation cope. I admire that he volunteered at Charlotte lighthouse as that's a wonderful connection to our past. I wonder what he thought when they recently painted over the beautiful stone to make it white!
He will be missed but his contributions to society and those around him will live on in the hearts of all he touched. I hope pleasant memories of him bring you some comfort now and in the future.
