Condolences
It saddens my heart to know Phyllis has passed away my condolences to Gerry Robin Theresa and the rest of the McKenzie family. Phyllis was like a second mother to me in my younger years she had many influences in my life helping me learn right from wrong teaching me how to laugh and have fun she was always a lot of fun but she also never put up with any crap lol. I can so remember her putting Vicks on my chest and under my nose when I would have a cold and I’d be spending the night there I always felt very loved and cared for by her. I used to go to church almost every Sunday with their family and I guess that’s where I learned my belief of God and that gives me such comfort because I know that’s where she is with God, her Mom, Dad and Ellen. I always did and always will love Phyllis but I’m also glad you’re not suffering anymore.
Love

I so remember Aunt Phyllis from the time I was the ring bearer for her and Jerry's wedding and through all through years growing up. She was always one to give me hugs when we would visit their home. Whenever I travel back to New York from Virginia, I always try to take a drive by the house they called home when I was growing up and recall the great times spent there with my cousins Robin and Theresa. It is sad that prior to her passing she suffered from lung issues. But in my heart I still remember the good times and her smiling face. Love you and God bless you Phyllis.
