Condolences
IT WAS SAD TO HEAR ABOUT CHIP I FIRST MET HIM WHEN HE WORKED FOR CASTLE HE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM PEACE&PRAYERS TO FAMILY& FRIENDS MARK L FROM WESTHERR DODGE PARTS AND STAFF
Regrettably, I seem to be writing too many of these lately, which is both a blessing and a curse in life, and never once considered I would need to for Chip! So it's with dismay and sadness that we're here now! Our comments refer back to Chips early tool truck days, (40+ years ago?) when he drove into our shop, -and low and behold, here was a new customer who knew his tool brand intimately, (I had prior factory connections at the time), to say fast friends happened in quicker time than a prom dress comes off! And being a toolaholic or tool junkie didn't hurt either! But Chip graciously delt with my addiction, on a weekly basis, and we all looked forward to his visits. Good times were had by all as I remember, dunno if he made any money at the time, but the memories were great certainly. Lost track over time but would run across, him periodically, and the "hihowareya's" were always enjoyable. That was Chips personality, and God blessed him hugely because of it, you were either fast friends or lifetime adversaries, but I tend to think he didn't have very much extra room to harbor anything significant in the way of animosity as life was too busy, and things needed to get done! We offer our sincere condolences to his family and relatives, for the loss of Chip and Pray that God gives you all strength, and resiliency in your time of mourning!

I had many good times with Chip playing softball at Forks park and through the years forged a very good friendship with him and his family. This is quite a shock to me as I have been out of touch with him lately he will truly be missed sincerest condolences. Pam if there is anything you need please let me know. Sincerely Dan Hicks, Hamlin N.Y.
I remember Chip as a wrestler in High School as a heavyweight. My step brother was on the team with him. Years later I accept a job at Doan Chevy as the General Manager. Chip walks in one day and I immediately recognized him. We spoke about HHS and the wrestling team. We ended up doing business for many more years till Bob Johnson bought the store. Chip was gentle giant and a pleasure to spend time with. Heaven grabbed a heavy weight in more ways than one.
To all the friends and family members I am truly sorry and saddened for your loss.
