Obituary of Gary H. Luehm

Gary H. Luehm passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 83. He is survived by his children, Tamara Kirkman, Robyn Luehm, Danette Luehm, Jason Luehm & James DePoty; his step-children, Dawn Hoffmeister, Robin DePoty, and David DePoty; his grandchildren, Taylor (Mark) Wohler, Zachary Kirkman, Joshua McKinney, Katherine McKinney, Clayton Pollock, Sara Pollock, Amanda Miller, Rebecca Parson and Jacob DePoty; his great-grandchildren, Logan, Spencer, Elise, Cassidy, Baby Weller, Xavier, Zachary and Oscar; his brothers, Robert (Beverly) Siebert and William (Janet) Luehm; and his cousin, Gerry Ricotta.

Gary grew up in Rochester, New York and stayed there his entire life. He retired from Kodak as a truck driver for 11 years.  He loved to play euchre with his friends, and his greatest pastime was mowing lawns on his John Deere and fishing with his friends. He also loved NASCAR, UFC and football.  Gary never met a stranger, making friends with everyone he met. He had a generous heart, especially with his close friends and family.  He was an associate member of the VFW of Brockport, volunteering his time when needed.

Friends may call Monday, March 2, 3-4 PM, at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where Gary's Funeral Service will be held at 4:00PM. Spring Interment will be in Garland Cemetery.
