Obituary of Robert J. Kaiser
Hilton - Robert J. Kaiser Sr. age 92, passed away peacefully February 26, 2020, joining the love of his life, Lois M. Kaiser, who passed away October 12, 2019, at the age of 93.
Bob and Lois met in middle school and began what would be a lifelong journey together. They were married in 1945 and had three sons and one daughter. They shared life's adventures in many states and ended up residing in Florida for over 30 years before returning to Rochester. Bob enjoyed making dollhouses, building projects, showing off his roses and walking. Lois loved to play scrabble, mahjong and bingo, and became an avid "texter" in her 90's. Together they loved boating and fishing, bird watching, playing cards, hanging poolside, and watching golf with their beloved cat Tasha curled up on one of their laps. Bob and Lois treasured all the time they spent with Lois' sister Carol Ciluffo and her husband Bill. The adventures were many and the connection strong.
Bob and Lois' love for each other was obvious to all who encountered them. Always walking while holding hands, dancing together in the morning, or a simple smile shared between them - their love for each other was always evident. They were so proud of their 74 year marriage and rightly so. Their examples of how to show love and endure through the hard times are a testament to their eternal commitment to each other both in this world, and in the next. May we all learn from their example.
Bob and Lois are survived by their four children, Daniel (Kathy) Kaiser, Robert (Barb) Kaiser, Deb (Dennis) Ulrich, Mike (Mela) Kaiser; their grandchildren, Gregory (Heather), Michelle (Arland), Tiffany (Vic), Melissa (Chris), Brandea and Kristina; their 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
There are no arrangements at this time, as the family will hold a celebration at a future date. Anyone wishing may donate to Lifetime Care Hospice at 3111 Winton Rd. S., Rochester, NY 14623 or Shriner's Hospital at 12502 USF Pine Drive, Tampa, FL 33612 in Bob and Lois' memory.
