Obituary of Judith L. Hazen

Hamlin - Judith L. "Judy" Hazen passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the age of 76.  She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick C. & Wilma [Klafehn] Lasch; her husband, John A. Hazen (June 2, 2008); her sister and brother-in-law, Jean & Dennis Boldt.  She is survived by her children, Judith Ann Nesbitt, Michael (Mary) Hazen and Kimberly (Peter) Collura; her 8 grandchildren, Jessica (Brad) Herman, Jacob, Isabella, Zachary and Charlotte Collura, Nicole (Robby) Templer, Michelle (Kurt) Kulzer and Jennifer (Peter) Eckerd; her 6 great-grandchildren, Kaiden & Sebastian Herman, Jayden, Dakota & Bryce Gibaud and Brody Templer; her sisters, Janet (Herbert) Meissner and Joyce Lasch; her brother, Dick (Diane) Lasch; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Judy was a devoted, life-long member of St. John Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed gardening as well as her pets, and especially her loving family and grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, February 19th from 4 - 7 PM at the THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME, INC. in Hilton. Judy's Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 20th at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church in Hamlin.
