My deepest condolences to the Smith family. Writing this is not easy as it brings up many memories for me. I remembered a smiling Mr Smith whenever Tom put me on video chat to say hi. A kind smile that warms a heart. May God’s infinite love and healing be with the Smith family in this time of struggle. You are all in my prayers now and always. With love, Stella.
Dear family and friends,
My heart goes out to all who knew and loved my sweet Uncle Joe, for I know we are all missing him greatly and always will. After my mother was moved to assisted living last summer, Uncle Joe made it a point to phone his sister-in-law every single day, and it really brightened her up. I was told Mom is the only resident who receives calls on daily basis, so they know she is very loved. One fun memory Mom liked to share was on her wedding day, December 27, 1949, my Uncle Joe was only 5 years old and it was a very windy day at my Mom's parent's farm house where the wedding took place, and all the attendees wore hats, which then blew off as they got out of their cars, so little Uncle Joe would run after the hats through the yard and brought each of them back to their rightful owners! I enjoy hearing stories of Uncle Joe on his motorbikes and hunting. Let's circle up and comfort each other with love and good memories of a man who will be sorely missed.
Much love,
Laurie
I give all my best to the entire Smith family. You guys were always good to us Chacchia's and I only have good memories of Mr. Smith. I hope you all get through this difficult time together. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
My heart goes out to all that knows Joe. Prayers for all of the family! Thank you Joe for being always so nice and caring. Also a wonderful grandfather to my baby sisters. I know you will watch over them. Xo
I have to admit that I may have never been the best son. Nonetheless I will miss my dad. I am hoping that anyone that reads this PLEASE come on the 9th. We were unsure on how to honor dad's life. I really felt I needed this time to remember my father with all of you. I hope to see as many as possible! Thank you.
So sorry Mike for you and your families loss ! Prayers for you all and remember all the happy memories. Mr. & Mrs. Porter & Shane
Mr. Smith was a man I always looked up to, I’ll never forget being a part of the Wednesday night rides to Olympic roller skating in the van, or going down to Cohocton with the family riding dirt bikes shooting off 22’s. Great memories. Thank you to the whole Smith family and sorry for your lose. Robert Seiler
