Obituary of Walter R. Ziegler

Greece - Walter R. Ziegler passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019.  He is survived by his daughter, Julie (Justin) Sullivan; his grandchildren, Rylie and Logan Sullivan; his brothers, Richard (Kathy) Ziegler, David (Terry) Ziegler and Chuck (Nancy) Ziegler; his special friend, Jacqueline Miesch.

Walter was a lifelong resident of Greece.  He loved fishing, and he took great joy in his role as Santa for 40 years.

Friends may call on Sunday, July 28th from 2 - 5 PM at THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 735 East Avenue in Hilton where his Memorial Service will be held at 5 PM.

Following the Service, friends are invited to join us at the Barnard Exempt, 360 Maiden Lane from 6 - 9 PM.  Please call or text Nancy Crawley at 749-0398 if you are planning to attend.
