Obituary of Gerard J. Meisenzahl

Kendall - Gerard J. Meisenzahl passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by his long-time, loving companion, Debbie Neri. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Joan Meisenzahl; his loving companion, Cheryl Strader; his brothers, Joseph (Betsy) Meisenzahl and Thomas (Dawn) Meisenzahl; his sister, Mary Joan Meisenzahl; his children, Johnny, DJ (Tammy), Jeremy (Melanie), Lacy (Brian), Patti (Brett), Al, Sarah, and Zachary; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Gerry was an entrepreneur in Kendall, New York. He enjoyed his dream home in Kendall and his lake house in Black Lake, New York. He was a hunter and fisherman. He also liked to ride his 4-wheeler, play cards, cook with his smoker, and liked his moonshine. He loved his bulldogs and German shepherds. He could always tell a great story. He loved life! He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family members.

Gerry was one of the most generous and caring souls ever known. We never saw a side of him that was angry, jealous, or vengeful.

Gerry had a huge heart filled with love and pride for his family. Seeing his family happy and successful is what made Gerry happy. He lived for it. His kids and grandchildren were his everything. He was always supportive of everyone and always guiding them as a great father would.

Gerry was always there to help anyone, in any way that he could, without question. He will live on in all those he has touched, and especially in his children. Their lives are now forever changed. Gone far too soon. Only the good die young. Until we meet again Big Bear.
