Obituary of Robert Harold Hall

Hilton:  On June 19, 2017.  Robert was born in Rochester.  He was predeceased by his parents, Carman and Muriel Hall; his infant daughter, Kendra Hall; & his stepson, Daniel P. Parsons, Jr.  He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary (Halstead) Hall; his children, Robert Scott Hall & Carolyn (Hall) Wilson; his grandchildren, Kristen & Kyle Hall; his brother, Harry Hall; his sister, Audrey (Jim) Hill; his step-daughter, Dawn M. (Timothy) Barr; his step-grandchildren, Amanda, Timothy, Jr., Zachary & Jared Barr; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was in the US Marine Corps for 12 years and belonged to the Genesee Valley Detachment #223 for 21 years, the American Legion Post 788 in Hilton for 30 years, and the Hilton Honor Guard.  He was a past president of the Hilton Lion's Club from 1992-1993, and a member for 33 years.  He received the Robert J. Uplinger Distinguished Service Award and the Lion of the Year Award 2010-2011.  Bob retired in 1991 from Kodak after a 23 year career there.  He has also received awards from Toys for Tots for his volunteerism.  He enjoyed camping, bowling and square dancing.  He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Friends may call Sunday, June 25th from 2 -5 p.m. and are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Monday, June 26th at 11:00 a.m. at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue, Hilton.  Interment will be held in Parma Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to The Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 in his memory.
