A graduate of Aquinas Institute, Robert spent many years employed as a procurement engineer with Xerox Corporation.
He was a man of many talents and a true craftsman at heart. He could build just about anything he set his mind to — from model schooners and mini bikes to dune buggies and tractors. His love for the water ran deep; he proudly owned a 42-foot Chris-Craft boat and spent countless hours enjoying it. As the owner of a marina and campground in Wolcott, NY, he created a welcoming haven for others who shared his love of boating and the outdoors.
He loved to travel and went nearly across the entire country, even making his way to the wild beauty of Alaska. In his later years, he found joy in the simple pleasures of country and bluegrass music, often traveling to bluegrass festivals to enjoy the music.
In his retirement, he continued to share his love of music by playing guitar and singing at local assisted living communities, including Hilton East Residential Home every Monday. Bob would have weekly jam sessions in his garage and traveled to play at many jams throughout the state.
