Obituary of Vincent C. Colletti
Hamlin – Vincent C. “Vinny” Colletti
Passed away suddenly on October 13, 2025, at the age of 41.
Vinny is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Lupiani Colletti, and their three beloved children: Julian Gambino (16), Roman Lewis (12), and Gabriella Colletti (6). He is also survived by his grandmother, Theresa Ahneman; mother, Debbie (Bob) Cummings; father, Vincent (Theresa) Colletti; brothers, David Anthony and Karl Burroughs; and stepbrother, Matt Siudy.
He will be greatly missed by his “expensive miracle beagle” Jack (13); cats, Mittens and Hotdog; fish, chickens, parrots, and the newest addition, Pumpkin, a baby bearded dragon who arrived on October 17th for Gabriella’s upcoming 7th birthday on October 21st.
Vinny was a remarkable man — a graduate of the College of Technology at Delhi, NY, with an associate degree in Electrical Construction and Controls, his intelligence and drive went far beyond the classroom. Founding Collective Solar was one of his proudest accomplishments. Vinny thrived working alongside his crew and was deeply respected for his leadership, generosity, and loyalty. He made sure his employees were cared for — by lining up jobs so their families were provided for and by taking late-night calls just to listen and offer advice. Out-of-town projects often turned into hotel parking lot cookouts for the entire crew. Even after the company’s sale, his team proudly continued to wear their Collective Solar shirts.
But above all, Vinny’s greatest joy was his family. He was the dad who worked hard all day and still came home ready to play, cook dinner, fold laundry, read bedtime stories, or video chat with the kids when he was away. He was the husband who embraced every one of Amanda’s “crazy new ideas” with love and enthusiasm — including homeschooling their children and buying an RV to slow life down and make more memories together.
There are simply no words that can do justice to the light Vinny brought into the world. His humor, compassion, and dedication touched everyone who knew him.
Those who knew Vinny, Amanda, or his children are cordially invited to join us on:
