Obituary of James M. McIntyre Jr.
Angelica - James Muir McIntyre Jr. passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the age of 65. He is survived by his children, Brook (Nicholas) Lowe, Heather (Michael) Cummings, and James McIntyre III; their mother, Dawn Fesler McIntyre; his grandchildren, Gabe and Chelsea Lowe, and Olen, Graham, and Connor Cummings; his brothers, Richard (Robbyn) McIntyre, Jerod McIntyre, David LoCurto, and Paul LoCurto; his sisters, Daye Amoretti, Patricia (Ray) Lindsay, and Sue Goldhawk; his stepmother, Shirley McIntyre; and several nieces and nephews.
James was predeceased by his father, James Sr.; his mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Goldhawk; his stepfather, Reg Goldhawk; his sister, Jackie McIntyre-Carrillo; and his brother-in-law, Steve Amoretti.
After graduating from Lewiston-Porter High School, James enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served as a navigator from 1978 to 1981. A mechanic by trade, he later enjoyed a fulfilling career working alongside his father and siblings at McIntyre Surveying & Engineering for over 25 years.
An avid outdoorsman, James loved hunting, fishing, boating, and golf. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
