Obituary of Linda E. Young

Hilton - Linda E. Young passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 81.  She is predeceased by her father and mother; Howard E. Young Sr. and Erma L. Young. Her brothers; David H. Young (Catherine) and William E. Young. Her nephews; Roger Young, Donald Young, Colin A. Young. She is survived by her brother Howard E. Young Jr. (Christine).  Her son, Edward L. Young.  Her grandchildren, Jake E. Young, Montana C. Young, Andrew W. Young.  Her nieces; Donna Yeomans (Craig), Mary Grimm (Jim), Sue Peterson, Cathy Linder (Bob), Sarah Price. Her nephews; Skip, Bryan, Christopher Young (Kelly), Joel Young, Austin Young (Mindy). Several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Linda retired from Eastman Kodak Co., where she worked as a Data Analyst.  Linda was an avid camper at Breezy Hills Campground where she enjoyed sitting by the fire roasting marshmallows, making hobo pies and on occasions sipping a “fruity” beverage. She was always up for a game night of Left, Right, Center.  Her hobbies included gardening, birding, baking cookies, and crafting.  She loved her fur babies; Wolfie, Spotanna and Angus. Linda was dedicated to her family and friends, her love for her grandchildren was paramount. She was always willing to help anyone and everyone.

Friends of Linda are invited to come together for a Graveside Service at her Interment in White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road Pittsford, New York 14534 on Friday June 20^th, 2025 at 11:00 am.  After Internment, a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 2:00 pm at Jeremiah’s Tavern, 1175 Jefferson Road, Rochester, New York 14623.
