Obituary of David G. Custer

Kendall - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David G. Custer, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 79. He is survived by his children, Darrin (Kim) Custer and Dawn (Adam) Coleman; his grandchildren, David, Dylan, Nick, Rayelle, Morgan, Chase, Blake, and Maya; his great-grandchildren, Brodee, Nora, Declan, and Dayton; his brothers, Mike (Shareen) Custer, Steve (Joanie) Custer, and Neil (Rosemary) Custer; and his many nieces and nephews. 

David was an Army Vietnam War Veteran who served his country with honor.  A skilled carpenter and self-employed craftsman, David built beautiful furniture and took pride in his work. He had an appreciation for cars and loved driving fast. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping in the Adirondacks, particularly in Croghan, where he found peace in nature. His love for wildlife and his dogs brought him joy throughout his life. He will be deeply missed.
