Obituary of Theron E. Groh

Irondequoit - Theron Edward Groh "Terry" born November 15, 1942, passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by his parents, Les and Suzanne Groh; his brother, Douglas Groh; and his sister, Patricia (David) Quinn.  He is survived by his niece, Candice (David) Gomes; his nephew, David (Patty) Quinn; and his great nephews, J.D. Robert, Adam and Dan Quinn.

Terry was a Veteran of the United States Army and served his country in the Reserves from 1965-1971.  He earned an Associates Degree from Mohawk Community College and after graduation, was employed as an Assistant Buyer for Sibleys in the menswear department.  Throughout the years, he gave advice about finances, health and fitness.  He was an avid sports fan and followed the Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Chiefs.  Later in life, he ran a small gym and lawn care business from his home in Irondequoit.  He was always a dad to many cats and kittens. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family wishes to give many thanks to the staff at Elderwood of Brockport, especially Jenn H., Karen, Kendra, and Collin, for enriching Terry's quality of life while at Elderwood.  The caring support of the staff at Rochester Regional Hospice was also truly appreciated.
