Sending Condolences To The Entire Vancheri Family I am one of The Senior Phlebotomist over at The English Road Laboratory where Mrs Vancheri would come and get her blood drawn at. As she entered the door I loved hearing her voice and she would often say “ Is Renee’ working today” ? I would come through the door and say hello Mrs. Vancheri yes I’m here today and she say can you draw my blood and I would tell her of course I will draw your blood. I will definitely miss her voice , smile and of course her hug along with the words “ I Love you honey “ and she would tell the entire staff at our English Road Lab that she Loved us. Joanne had a big heart. Any time we spent time with her, you felt like you were the apple of her eye. She doted on our children, and Don and I feel like we had the best children in the world! That was just her personality to make everyone feel special. We always felt loved and happy around Joanne. I pray for everyone whose lives she touched. In the bible it says “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." I saw a picture in my mind of Joanne being up in heaven at the gates, being part of the welcoming committee, giving everyone a great big hug and making a joyful fuss as everyone come through. I have many vivid and fond memories of my cousin Joanne. Her parents sponsored my family from Sicily. She was always over helping my mom and babysitting. She was like the older sister I never had with a family of all boys. She helped us to adjust to life in Canada and taught us Canadian ways. Joanne introduced us to french fries with ketchup! In fact she was the one who gave my two brothers and I who were born in Sicily our new names in a new land. To this day we still go by these names. Joanne was always a very giving and helping person. She radiated charisma as soon as she walked into a room. She made you feel welcome and important in her presence. Joanne was a great cousin and I'm going to miss her dearly.
